The use of mobile applications is increasing steadily on a daily basis and more and more people want applications that simplify their lives, make their work easier, and provide entertainment for both adults and children.

Target market
A smartphone app development company has to have a specific target market in mind when developing different applications for mobile devices and tablets. How a user interface should look like is important in not only making sure that the site and application can accommodate smart phones and follow the standard mobile app development, but also that it is aimed at the right target market. Applications and platforms that follow the design that is professional and accommodating for business professional would not work very well if the application is developed for teenagers, or if the target market is children. Each application use interface needs to be developed to accommodate both smart phones and the people that use them.

As Mobile app development companies take advantage of the growing market for smart phones and different applications, they need to be aware of the demand for platforms that will offer their users a higher both higher quality and also simplicity. Any application that is development has to be designed to not only give the user a unique and convenient application, but make it easy to use as well. Lots of navigation and buttons, bright colours and excessive graphics are all factors that will contribute to the appeal and but the user friendliness of the application can be reduced. This is why not only the target market has to remain an important factor in development, but what the application will be used for and especially on what device it will be used on.

Easy and simple
Different applications need to be developed for different devices. A mobile app development company will have a specific platform and device in mind, but most applications try to accommodate all the different smart phone devices. User interfaces try to be as universal as possible and this is why there are a few standard layouts that must always be applicable for all platform development, regardless of what specific smart phone it has been developed for. Some of these are:
Font size: The most important factor that user interfaces must accommodate for is the fact that applications and sites are viewed on small mobile screens. This means that the font size needs to be simple and large enough to be read, but not too large as the user does not want to navigate sideways across the screen. The font size must also not be so large as to make the page excessively long.
Images: Images are important aspects, as they make an interface both more appealing to look at and are a good way to help create easy navigation. Unfortunately the more images used, the more space is taken up by them and the higher the size of the site or interface, so many images would not be present on a user interface. The images have to be fairly uncomplicated as well; this is to make sure the user will not have to zoom in to understand what is being shown.
Lists and drop down menus: Creating navigation though a list is ideal, as it allows the user to see immediately what applications or pages are available to them and it makes the use of the interface easier. Drop down menus should be avoided as they can create complications with navigation and they are not ideal in the use of user friendly interfaces.
Icons: All user interfaces should have icons. These make the site look appealing and create and easier way to navigate. There are standard icons used through different mobile devices and this allows the user to understand and find the interface familiar, making it more appealing and user-friendly. Icons are always preferred to long names.

Further Development
Professional android application development is always changing, and the different user interfaces make allow for more applications and create more appeal. Customer feedback is very important in the development on mobile site and applications. Apps and smart phones are continually increasing in popularity, and so are the customer expectations and demands for simple and elegant platforms to take advantage of the different applications available. As the market continues to develop, the look and functionality of user interfaces of mobile devices will also change.

Introspective development
How a user interface should look like for mobile apps is entirely dependent on the target market it is aimed for. There are standard features that should always be kept in mind and its development must always be easy to understand and user-friendly. As the market develops so will the will the design of mobile user interfaces.
